The Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park protects four archipelagos: Cíes, Ons, Sálvora and Cortegada. Each is renowned for its virtually untouched natural environment, unspoilt beaches, cliffs and marine biodiversity, providing a haven for birds and marine life.
The Cíes Islands are the best known, with hiking trails, white sandy beaches and panoramic views of the Atlantic. Ons combines natural landscapes with small fishing villages, whilst Sálvora and Cortegada are notable for their forests, dunes and protected ecosystems, with more limited access to preserve their environment.
Visiting the park allows you to enjoy boat trips, hiking and wildlife watching, offering a unique ecotourism experience in Galicia, where nature remains almost untouched and contact with the sea and the Atlantic landscape is exceptional.
