Abadín

Abadín

Abadín lies in the shelter of the Serra do Xistral, a land of wild horses. It is a small village, but it offers a chance to rest before heading into Galicia.

This municipality offers a purely rural, green and serene setting. Its rich religious heritage is reflected in the Romanesque and Gothic churches dotted throughout its parishes, such as the church of Santa María de Abadín, whilst its nature trails and crystal-clear streams, such as the River Ouro, provide a perfect haven of peace in which to switch off from the daily grind and enjoy the most authentic Galician countryside.
