Laxe - Arour route
This is one of the most unique stages of the Camiño dos Faros, filled with unforgettable places and stories, such as that of the hermit Man.
The route begins after leaving Laxe with a visit to the intriguing Praia dos Cristais, a magical spot where the sea has polished thousands of shards of colored glass, transforming them into glittering sand. Skirting wave-battered cliffs, the trail heads toward the monumental Traba Beach, a vast stretch of sand flanked by a dune system and a protected coastal lagoon of immense biological richness. After passing the famous open-air museum created by the German sculptor Man, the path winds peacefully along the seashore until reaching Arou.
