Ponteceso - Laxe route
The following journey along the Costa da Morte offers a highly varied route that combines the tranquility of river ecosystems with beaches and fishing ports.
We set out from Ponteceso to explore the Ensenada da Insua estuary, a protected area of immense ornithological value. We head inland to discover gems of Galician archaeological heritage, such as the Castro de Borneiro and the Dombate dolmen. After descending back toward the coast, the day concludes in Laxe, a charming fishing town with cobblestone streets.
