Portomarín
A jewel on the French Way, Portomarín boasts a spectacular Romanesque heritage on the banks of the Miño.
Portomarín is one of the most iconic destinations on the Camino de Santiago. Its history is marked by a remarkable event: the old village was submerged beneath the waters of the Belesar reservoir in the 1960s, and was rebuilt stone by stone at its current location. It is a place brimming with pilgrim life, with numerous hostels, terraces and a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to enjoy.
Palas de Rei
