STAGE 2: FERREIRA - MELIDE
The stage starting from A Ponte Ferreira passes through numerous villages and leads to Melide, the point where the Primitive Way and the French Way converge.
A notable feature of this stage is its distinctly rural character. Leaving the province of Lugo behind, we enter the Melide region, traveling along tracks and roads while remaining well away from major population centers—making for a peaceful stage. The most interesting sights are found in Melide and its historic town center.

Arzúa is a stop on both the French Way and the Northern Way, making it one of the major towns on the Way of St James.
STAGE 4: O PEDROUZO - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
This section winds through meadows and oak groves, traversing beautiful landscapes, until it reaches the final stop before Santiago de Compostela.

O Pedrouzo is the last stop before reaching the city of the Apostle. It is the perfect place to rest before tackling the final stage of the Camino.
