STAGE 4: O PEDROUZO - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

STAGE 4: O PEDROUZO - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

This section winds through meadows and oak groves, traversing beautiful landscapes, until it reaches the final stop before Santiago de Compostela.

This penultimate stage is considered relatively easy and comfortable, with minimal elevation changes, as it follows long forest tracks through woods and meadows. The route features gently rolling hills, wooded paths, and country roads. As in the previous stage, the route follows the line of the N-547 national highway. We recommend exercising great caution when crossing this road, as traffic is heavy and includes all types of vehicles. Although crossings are marked with traffic signs, extra care is advisable. Highlights of the stage include Boavista, A Calle, and Ferreiros—small, picturesque villages. The route ends in O Pedrouzo, a modern town offering a full range of services for pilgrims.
