Beyond the natural setting, the rural character of this stage is highly significant. The area’s landscape is dotted with small rural parishes such as Alba and Ferreira featuring traditional hórreos and cruceiros. The pilgrim constantly feels as though walking along paths where time has stood still. Once again, we will cross several streams via small wooden and stone bridges.
