Langosteira Beach

Langosteira Beach

Langosteira Beach is a stretch of fine sand nearly 2 km long with calm waters, sheltered from the Atlantic swell on the Costa da Morte.
Langosteira Beach, in Fisterre (Costa da Morte), is a beach stretching for almost 2 km of fine sand, situated in a cove opening out onto the Atlantic. Its orientation and shape offer partial protection from the swell, meaning it usually has calmer conditions than other beaches in the area. It is situated in an area historically linked to the fishing industry of Fisterra and the development of the town centre, and is a beach regularly used by the local population. Its length ensures it remains a spacious area along the coast. It forms part of the coastline at the westernmost tip of Galicia, characterised by the direct influence of the Atlantic Ocean and the landscape of the Costa da Morte.
